Why advertise on Go Sussex

A local jobs board that’s simple for you and for the people applying.

  • Local candidates

Go Sussex is a directory and jobs board just for East and West Sussex, so your advert is in front of people looking for work near them — not across the country.

  • Ready for Google for Jobs

Every advert gets its own page with JobPosting structured data, so it’s eligible to appear in Google’s job search results. Google decides what it shows, so we can’t promise a placement.

  • Applications straight to you

Candidates apply by email, on your own website, by phone, or with a simple form that lets them attach a CV. Job seekers don’t need an account, so nothing gets in their way.

  • Manage applicants in your account

See every application in your free business account, open the CVs people send and keep track of who you’ve shortlisted.

Simple pricing

One advert, one price. No subscriptions, no fee per application.

How it works

From sign-up to live advert in four steps.

  1. Create a free business account

Sign up with your email address. If you already list your business on Go Sussex, use the same account.

  2. Write your advert

Add the job title, location, contract, salary and what the role involves, then choose how people can apply.

  3. We check it

A real person reviews every advert before it goes live, to keep the board genuine and useful for job seekers.

  4. It goes live

Your advert appears on the jobs board, its own job page and the town and sector pages, for 30 days from the day it’s approved.

Questions employers ask

How much does it cost to post a job?

A standard advert is £25 and a featured advert is £45, each for 30 days. Check the latest price when you post.

When does my advert go live, and when do the 30 days start?

Your advert goes live once we’ve checked it. The 30 days start on the day it’s approved, so time spent in review never comes off your advert.

How do candidates apply?

You choose: by email, through your own website or applicant tracking system, by phone, and/or through the Go Sussex application form, where candidates can attach a CV. Job seekers never need an account to apply.

Who can see the CVs and applications?

Only you (the employer who posted the job) and the Go Sussex admin. CVs are stored privately and are never shown on the website.

Will my job appear on Google?

Every advert has its own page with Google’s JobPosting structured data, which makes it eligible for Google’s job search experience. Google decides which jobs it shows and where, so we can’t guarantee a placement.

What’s the difference between Standard and Featured?

Both run for 30 days with unlimited applications. A Featured advert (£45) is pinned above standard adverts on the jobs board and on town and sector pages, with a Featured badge.

Can I edit or close my advert?

Yes. From your account you can update your advert, or close it early once the role is filled so you stop receiving applications.

Do I need a business listing to post a job?

You need a free Go Sussex business account. You don’t need a listing, but listing your business is free too and helps candidates find out more about you.
