About this event

Robertsbridge holds its bonfire celebrations on Saturday 21 November 2026, traditionally one of the last nights of the Sussex bonfire season. The Robertsbridge Bonfire Society is joined by visiting societies for a torchlit procession that sets off from Station Road at about 7.15pm and makes its way through the village to the Recreation Ground. Bonfire prayers and the lighting of the bonfire follow at around 8.45pm, with a fireworks display at about 9pm. Roads close from 5pm to 10pm and there is no designated parking, so space in the village is very limited. Check the society's website for travel advice before setting off.
