Briar House Barns

Two converted barns for weddings and events near Rotherfield

About Briar House Barns

Briar House Barns is a countryside wedding and events venue on Dewlands Hill, on the lanes between Rotherfield and Hadlow Down near Crowborough, and has been hosting events since 2012. It sits within around 40 acres of private land and offers a choice of two barns: the Stone Barn and the larger Great Barn, where a movable wall lets the space be adjusted to suit the size of the wedding or party. The venue is approved for civil ceremonies through the East Sussex registration service, and also hosts other celebrations, parties and corporate events. Hire is on an exclusive-use basis, with a choice of caterers or dry hire, and there is on-site parking. The venue holds free wedding showcase open days, typically in spring and autumn.
