About Firle Place

Firle Place is a historic country house in the village of Firle, a few miles south-east of Lewes beneath the South Downs, and has long been the home of the Gage family. The estate hosts weddings and private events on an exclusive-use basis. Couples can marry in one of several licensed ceremony spaces, including the Great Hall, the Courtyard and the Dell Garden, and outdoor ceremonies are possible. Receptions are held in the Georgian Riding School and on the croquet lawns, with room for up to around 250 guests. There is parking on site. The house also opens to visitors on selected days between May and October, with a tea room during the season.
