East Beach Cafe
Seafront cafe in an award-winning Heatherwick-designed beach building
About East Beach Cafe
East Beach Cafe sits on the promenade at Littlehampton's East Beach, in a distinctive curved building designed by Thomas Heatherwick's studio. It opened in 2007 and the building has since won many design and architecture awards. Its owners, Jane Wood and Sophie Murray, run it themselves. It serves breakfast and lunch, with dinner on selected evenings. The menu is classic English seaside cooking, such as locally caught fish and fish and chips, alongside dishes inspired by beach holidays abroad. The dining room looks out over the beach and sea. Hours change with the seasons and booking is advisable for evening meals, so check ahead before visiting.
